FOX has not announced announced its schedule of fall premiere dates, but viewers now know when to tune into new series "Scream Queens". Star Emma Roberts has revealed the premiere date of the horror-comedy series via her Instagram.
On Wednesday, June 24, she posted a picture of her and her co-stars on the show along with the series premiere date, which is September 22 (Tuesday). Expressing her excitement, she wrote in a caption of the photo, "It's all happening!!!! #ScreamQueens."
In other news, the show has just added Charisma Carpenter to the cast. The actress, best known for her role as Cordelia Chase on "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" series, will play the mother of Ariana Grande's character.
Created by Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk and Ian Brennan, "Scream Queens" is a horror-comedy anthology series. The first season will center on a college campus rocked by several murders. Emma Roberts plays Chanel Oberlin, the president of the Kappa sorority, with Ariana Grande, Keke Palmer, Billie Lourd and Abigail Breslin playing other members of the sorority.
Jamie Lee Curtis stars as Dean Cathy Munsch, the dean of the university. Other actors joining the show include Lea Michele, Oliver Hudson, Skyler Samuels, Nasim Pedrad and Nick Jonas.
