There have been numerous photos and videos from the set of "Suicide Squad" which revealed parts of the movie. However, director David Ayer assured fans via Twitter, on Sunday, May 31, that there would still be a lot of surprises in the movie.

Ayer insisted that the scenes filmed on the street such as a chase scene between Margot Robbie's Harley Quinn and Jared Leto's the Joker and a fight between Batman and the Joker were only small parts of the movie. "Well we survived the streets. Time to go dark now. Remember, only the tiniest glimpse has been exposed. Our surprises are intact," Ayer wrote on Twitter.

It can also be an indication that the filming on the streets of Toronto has ended. Sources said that the rest of the shoot would take place in studio, away from public attention. This news might satisfy fans who have complained that too much scenes have been spoiled because of the public filming.

Robbie and Leto are joined in the cast by the likes of Will Smith (Deadshot), Jai Courtney (Captain Boomerang), Cara Delevingne (Enchantress), Joel Kinnaman (Rick Flagg), Viola Davis (Amanda Waller), Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje (Killer Croc), Adam Beach (Slipknot) and Ike Barinholtz, whose role is still unknown.

"Suicide Squad" centers on DC Comic supervillains who are recruited by the government to perform black operation in order to gain redemption. Charles Roven and Richard Suckle are producing while Ayer and Justin Marks write the screenplay. It will open in U.S. theaters on August 5, 2016.
