Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner have reportedly been leading separate lives for quite a long time. Some sources close to the couple told Radar Online that Jennifer Lopez's ex-boyfriend had been spending more time outside their house since their relationship crumbled.

According to the news outlet, Affleck didn't spend Mother's Day with Garner and even skipped her birthday. The actor allegedly spend Mother's Day with his mom and brother Casey Affleck, while Garner spent the day with their kids and her parent.

Still according to the website, Garner was later spotted having lunch with her friend in Manhattan earlier this month, while Affleck was seen gambling in Las Vegas, leaving their kids alone at their Los Angeles house.

Contrary to the rumors, another source related to the pair claimed the reports could be wrong. "It's not unusual for couples to be apart when one is on set, however Ben has been spotted in Santa Monica - their home base - several times in the last month by himself, so it's a little odd that they haven't been seen together when they're so close to home," the source, Jessica Wedemeyer, told ET Online.

"Ben and Jennifer reportedly spent her last birthday apart," Wedemeyer added. "He was actually photographed the day before her birthday without his wedding ring, however he was in Canada shooting a film, so it's not that unusual."

Amid these reports, Affleck and Garner along with their children were said to step out together for ice cream in their neighborhood. The couple was also seen still sporting their wedding rings.
