Netflix has released the first photos from "Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp". The pictures give glimpses of Amy Poehler's Susie, Bradley Cooper's Ben, Paul Rudd's Andy, Christopher Meloni's Gene, Elizabeth Banks' Lindsay, Molly Shannon's Gail and more back to Camp Firewood.
Other original stars like Michael Ian Black, Judah Friedlander, Janeane Garofalo, Joe Lo Truglio, Ken Marino, Marguerite Moreau, Zak Orth, David Hyde Pierce and Michael Showalter are all back for the prequel project. Moreover, Chris Pine, Kristen Wiig, Jon Hamm and Jason Schwartzman are reported to have landed guest starring/recurring roles on the upcoming 8-episode limited series.
The story will focus on the first day of Camp Firewood's famous summer season. David Wain returns as director and once again provides the script along with Showalter. Filming commenced in January and the show is slated to be released this summer on Netflix.
