Last March, Eminem gave fans the first listen to a new song in the trailer for Jake Gyllenhaal's "Southpaw". The rapper has now shared a longer preview of the track called "Phenomenal" in a new Beats by Dre ad starring Golden State Warriors' power forward Draymond Green.

In the new snippet, Em can be heard spitting some empowering bars over DJ Khalil-produced beat. "Let me self-empower you/ When you're down and they're tryna clown the f**k out of you/ When you feel like you're running out of fuel/ I'll show you how to use doubter's fuel/ I am phenomenal," he raps.

"Phenomenal" is confirmed as the first single from the "Southpaw" soundtrack which is executive produced by Em and is set to be released this July through his Shady Records/Interscope Records.

"We have been involved in developing 'Southpaw' since it's inception," said Shady Records President Paul Rosenberg in a statement. "Eminem has dedicated himself to ensuring that this film captured his passion for the project through his music. We've assembled a great soundtrack to accompany what's sure to be one of the finest boxing films ever."

As for the film, it's scheduled to hit U.S. theaters on July 25. Directed by Antoine Fuqua, it centers on a boxer (Gyllenhaal) on a downward spiral who's trying to rebuild his career and regain custody of his young daughter after a tragedy.
