Adam Levine and Co. performed 'This Summer's Gonna Hurt Like a Motherf**ker' for the first time on TV, while the country singer played 'Kick the Dust Up' off his just-announced new album.

AceShowbiz - "The Voice" judge Adam Levine brought along his Maroon 5 bandmates during the competition's finale on Tuesday, May 19. Before the winner of season 8 was revealed, the group hit the stage to perform their new single "This Summer's Gonna Hurt Like a Motherf**ker" live for the first time on television.

Debuted last week, the song is reportedly set to be featured on a re-issue of Maroon 5's fifth studio album, last year's "V". During the performance on "The Voice", Levine sang some of the track's lyrics through a megaphone.

Maroon 5 was hardly the only act who performed a brand new single. Fresh off announcing his new album "Kill the Lights", Luke Bryan stopped by the NBC show to deliver a rendition of its lead single "Kick the Dust Up".

Tuesday's "The Voice" saw Sawyer Frederick of Team Pharrell Williams being announced as the winner of season 8. Other big names performing that night included Ed Sheeran who slowed things down with "Photograph" off his "X" album and Meghan Trainor who played her latest "Title" single "Dear Future Husband".
