U.N. mission spokeswoman Sophie Boutaud de la Combe said in a statement that Beyonce traveled with U.N. Emergency Relief Coordinator and Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs Valerie Amos and met "some of the people who were affected by" the devastating disaster five years ago. Visiting areas such as Port-au Prince, Beyonce was all smiles while handing out necessary resources like food and water to local resident.
