More winners of the 2015 Billboard Music Awards have been revealed. Following a performance of "See You Again" by Wiz Khalifa and Charlie Puth, along with violinist Lindsey Stirling, Celine Dion presented Sam Smith with the Top Male Vocal Artist Award
The singer, beating out fellow vocalists like Drake, Justin Timberlake and Ed Sheeran, couldn't make it to the show as he was recovering from throat surgery in New York. He appeared via a video, in which he delivered his acceptance speech using cue cards.
John Legend was the next winner announced during the telecast. One Direction returned to the stage to hand him his Top Radio Song trophy for "All of Me". "I have to of course thank our beautiful co-host my wife Chrissy Teigen," he said. "I was inspired to write this for a beautiful talented woman. Thank you!"
Another act to take home a BMA was Meghan Trainor, whose hit "All About That Bass" won the Top Hot 100 Song. The 21-year-old singer/songwriter cried while thanking her mom, dad and her label after accepting her award from 50 Cent and Rita Ora.
