The CW offers a first look at its new comic-adapted series, "DC's Legends of Tomorrow", by releasing a trailer and a featurette. The trailer opens with scenes from "Arrow" and "The Flash", before showing the two superheroes assembling the team.

They include Ray Palmer/The Atom (Brandon Routh), Leonard Snart/Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller), Mick Rory/Heat Wave (Dominic Purcell), Martin Stein/one half of Firestorm (Victor Garber) and Kendra Saunders/Hawkgirl (Ciara Renee). There's also Caity Lotz, whose role is revealed to be White Canary. She rises out of the Lazarus Pits that is known for its powers that can heal people.

They seem to doubt the idea of uniting them in a group, but time-traveling rogue Rip Hunter (Arthur Darvill) explains their sacred mission to thwart the big baddie, Vandal Savage. They are latter seen working hand-in-hand to fight the bad guys as seen in both the trailer and the featurette.

Star Lotz told EW about her character who is resurrected from death, "There's going to be some differences. There's going to be some repercussions [from] whatever happened and it's definitely going to make a difference in how she is. I'm really looking forward to it. The stuff they were telling me about it and where they're going to go with the character is exciting."

The new drama from "Arrow" and "Flash" executive producers Andrew Kreisberg and Greg Berlanti is slated to debut in midseason. Kreisberg, Berlanti, Marc Guggenheim and Sarah Schechter executive produce the upcoming series, which also stars Franz Drameh as Jay Jackson.
