The team behind 'The Unauthorized Saved by the Bell Story' returns for the 'Full House' take that will explore the stars' rise to fame.

AceShowbiz - On the heels of announcement that a "Full House" spin-off is coming to Netflix, Lifetime is planning a tell-all TV movie about the lives of the show's stars off camera. In the same vein as "The Unauthorized Saved by the Bell Story" which aired on the cable channel in 2014, "The Unauthorized Full House Story" won't feature the original cast members.

According to The Hollywood Reporter which first reported the news, the "Full House" tell-all movie "will look at the rise of the cast - including John Stamos, Bob Saget and Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen - and explore the pressure they faced to balance idyllic family life on the show with the more complicated reality of their own lives outside the series. Additionally, it will look at the warm bond that grew between the cast as the show became one of America's most beloved family sitcoms."

Ron McGee, who wrote Lifetime's take on "Saved by the Bell Story", returns to pen the upcoming telepic, with Harvey Kahn and Stephen Bulka also back as executive producers. Casting will begin immediately, but no premiere date has been set yet.

The "Full House" spin-off titled "Fuller House" will focus on DJ Tanner (Candace Cameron-Bure) and her three kids, along with her sister Stephanie (Jodie Sweetin) and neighbor Kimmy Gibbler (Andrea Barber). Additionally, other original cast members are expected to return for the one-hour reunion that will start off the new 13-episode comedy.
