AceShowbiz - Major Lazer has enlisted Ellie Goulding for the single "Powerful" from their upcoming album "Peace is the Mission". Also featuring guest vocals from reggae singer Tarrus Riley, the collaboration was premiered on Thursday, April 23.
The track lives up to its title. It's a powerful R&B-tinged tune which will be one of the most radio-ready songs off the album. Goulding and Riley are trading verses over the beat produced by Diplo and the other Major Lazer members.
"There's an energy/ When you hold me/ When you touch me/ It's so powerful/ I can feel it/ When you hold me/ When you touch me/ It's so powerful," they sing on the chorus.
"Peace is the Mission" is due out on June 1. The record is led by "Lean On" that features DJ Snake and Danish singer MO. It also boasts collaborations with other names like Travi$ Scott, 2 Chainz, Pusha T and Ariana Grande.
