AceShowbiz - Jude Law has become a father for the fifth time. The "Sherlock Holmes" actor welcomed a daughter with his ex-girlfriend Catherine Harding on Monday, March 16. His representative confirmed the happy news on Tuesday.
The representative said in a statement, "I can confirm the arrival of Jude Law and Catherine Harding's daughter. Both are delighted and continue to ask that their privacy and that of their child be respected." No further details about Jude's new bundle of joy have been revealed.
Jude announced the pregnancy news back in October. At that time, his representative revealed that the 42-year-old actor and the 23-year-old singer were "expecting a child together in the spring. Whilst they are no longer in a relationship, they are both wholeheartedly committed to raising their child."
Jude is already a father to four children from his previous relationships. The star of "The Holiday" has three children with former wife Sadie Frost, Rafferty, Rudy and Iris and a daughter, Sofia, with former girlfriend Samantha Burke.
Jude will be seen in three upcoming movies "Spy", "Genius" and "Knights of the Roundtable: King Arthur". In "Spy", he stars alongside Melissa McCarthy, Jason Statham and Rose Byrne. The action comedy flick is set to hit theaters in the U.S. on June 5.
Both "Genius" and "Knights of the Roundtable: King Arthur" are scheduled to be released in the U.S. in 2016. Jude stars in "Genius" along with Colin Firth, Nicole Kidman, Dominic West and Guy Pearce. While in "King Arthur", he is joined by Charlie Hunnam, Astrid Berges-Frisbey, Eric Bana and Mikael Persbrandt.
