Jude Law, the renowned British actor, has found himself navigating a bittersweet moment as he received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame mere weeks after the passing of his mother, Maggie.

"It's been a long process because I found out and was originally going to have the service a couple of weeks back," Law shared with People. "But in a very odd way as a kind of final gift, it meant that a few more of my family could be here."
Despite the immense loss, Jude Law described the honor as a "very personal occasion and really touching." He was joined by his wife, Phillipa Coan, and his two older children, Rafferty and Iris, who he shares with his former wife, Sadie Frost.

"I had a mother who showed me the great silent movies and comedies and musicals and dramas of the Hollywood Golden Era," he recounted. "And I had a dad who took me in the '70s and '80s to blockbuster movies where we ate our bodyweight in popcorn and chocolate."
Throughout his three-decade career, Jude Law has graced the silver screen in beloved films like "The Grand Budapest Hotel", "The Fantastic Beasts" franchise and "Sherlock Holmes". His latest project, "The Order", sees him opposite Nicholas Hoult and Jurnee Smollett.
