The 'Glee' actress, the 'True Blook' hunk, and the former Nickelodeon star are added to the Ryan Murphy latest project along with Abigail Breslin and Keke Palmer.

AceShowbiz - More big stars are added to Ryan Murphy's latest TV project on FOX "Scream Queens". "Glee" diva Lea Michele, "True Blood" hunk Joe Manganiello, and former "Victorious" star Ariana Grande are announced to join the upcoming the comedy horror anthology.

Abigail Breslin ("Little Miss Sunshine") and Keke Palmer ("Cinderella") are also among the newly-revealed cast. They are joined by previously-confirmed actors Emma Roberts ("American Horror Story") and Jamie Lee Curtis ("Halloween").

This project will reunite Roberts and Michele with Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk, Ian Brennan and Dante Di Loreto, the executive producers of "Glee" and "American Horror Story". The characters they will all be playing are still under wraps, but Grande is tapped for a recurring role.

The first installment of the new anthology series will take place in a sorority house as a series of murders rocks a college campus. FOX has ordered 15 one-hour episodes of the series, which is scheduled to begin production in the spring and will premiere in fall.

Speaking at the Television Critics Association press tour on Saturday, January 17, FOX's chairman Gary Newman dismissed suggestion that FOX was concerned about Murphy using similar surprise element that made his FX series "American Horror Story" became a hit.

"Creatively, I'm not sure it's that big of a difference," he said. "Obviously, there are different standards for what you can do on FX and what you can do on Fox, but Ryan proved on 'Glee' that he can tell very edgy stories that have real cultural relevance on network television, and I expect him to do that with 'Scream Queens'. I think it's going to be an amazing, suspenseful, fun ride."

He added to E! News, "We trust [Murphy] implicitly and he has proven over the years that he has great instincts for building characters that people care about and fall in love with. He brings an outrageousness to what he does that is his unique signature and Scream Queens, he's literally the perfect person to do this. It's going to be an amazing, suspenseful, fun run."
