George Clooney and his wife Amal Clooney were among celebrities who paid tribute to the victims of the recent Charlie Hebdo shooting on the red carpet of the 2015 Golden Globe Awards on Sunday, January 11. The newlyweds came to the event sporting "Je Suis Charlie" badges with George putting it on the left side of his blazer and Amal on her purse.
In an interview with ET's reporter Nancy O'Dell, George spoke out about the Charlie Hebdo tragedy. "We weren't in Europe or France, but this was a moment in time when millions of people from every different religion locked arms and said we're not going to be ruled in fear," he said, "We both wanted to be in solidarity with it."

Other celebrities like Helen Mirren, Diane Kruger, Joshua Jackson and Kathy Bates also showed their support for Charlie Hebdo in the wake of the Paris terror attacks. Helen, Diane and Joshua each brought a purple-and-white "Je Suis Charlie" sign, while Kathy held up a "Je Suis Charlie" message on her phone.
