Bill Cosby is still planning to continue his shows in Canada amid public outcry. The comedian, who has been battling sexual assault accusations made by several women, is set to perform in Kitchener, London and Hamilton on January 7, 8 and 9 respectively and he is going ahead with the shows.

An organizer of the shows Innovation Arts & Entertainment said in a statement on Friday, January 2 that they were legally bound to do their job and could not cancel the shows without agreement from the performer. "As recently as this morning, IAE has been informed by Mr. Cosby's representatives that he has every intent to perform these events," the company said, as quoted by CBC News.

"While we understand and empathize this is a difficult time, we hope it is understood that both the venues and IAE are legally obligated to proceed as it applies to our commitments, and that we would face crippling legal obstacles for violation," they added.

Nearly two dozens of women accused the comedian of assaulting them in the past. In the wake of the scandal, Cosby lost some gigs. His latest performance was on November 21 in Melbourne, Florida.
