Susan Boyle is in love. The "I Dreamed a Dream" singer shared in a recent interview with The Sun that she found her first boyfriend at the age of 53 and talked about her relationship with the man whose name is not revealed yet.
"It's very early days so we'll see what happens. I hope he comes over (to Scotland to visit). I don't want to say any more about who he is right now as that would be unfair on him," said the singer who soared to fame after showcasing her vocal skill with the song from "Les Miserables" on "Britain's Got Talent", as quoted by Daily Mail. "All I'll say is we are around the same age and he was a very nice guy."
Boyle's mystery boyfriend is a U.S. doctor. They met when they stayed in the same hotel during the singer's recent concert in the country. Boyle gushed he was such a "perfect gentleman" and they had a romantic dinner together.
Boyle is now promoting her sixth album called "Hope". In a new interview with Huffington Post U.K., the singer revealed her plan for the next album. "To be honest I'd really like to work with songwriters in the future and create new music and change the direction I go in musically," she said.
"Whilst I'm incredibly proud of my sixth album 'Hope' and there are some great songs on it, I want to get more hands on and work on original material with talented songwriters. I think for an artist to have longevity you need to adapt and change and I have proven with my tours that I can sing a host of different musical genres and I'd like the public to be able to see more of that," she continued. "I'm not saying I'm going to reinvent myself in the way of Lady GaGa and come out in public in an egg but musically I want to progress."
