More winners at the 2014 American Music Awards, which is underway at Los Angeles' Nokia Theater, have been unveiled. Following performances from Lorde and Ariana Grande, Jenny McCarthy and her new husband Donnie Wahlberg hit the stage to present One Direction with Favorite Album in Pop/Rock for the boys' third chart-topping LP "Midnight Memories".

That's the second award Harry Styles and Co. have received at the event. Earlier tonight, the British group was named Favorite Band/Duo/Group in Pop/Rock, beating tough competitors like Imagine Dragons and OneRepublic.

Later, Khloe Kardashian and her younger sisters Kylie Jenner and Kendall Jenner announced that Katy Perry was the winner in the Favorite Female in Pop/Rock category. The "Roar" hitmaker, who couldn't make it to the event as she's currently in Australia for her tour, delivered her acceptance speech via a video.

Fresh off performing their newest single "I Bet My Life", Imagine Dragons won the Favorite Artist in Alternative Rock title. 5 Seconds of Summer then joined their tourmate One Direction on the winners list. After Selena Gomez gave the first live performance of her new single "The Heart Wants What It Wants", Julianne Hough handed out the New Artist of the Year award to the Australian four-piece.
