Another star is added to "Suicide Squad" casting mix. According to a scoop from Latino-Review, British model Cara Delevingne is considered to star in the upcoming anti-hero movie. She is reportedly eyed to play a villainous female role.

Jesse Eisenberg who will play Batman's nemesis Lex Luthor in "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" is also linked to the project. Other possible cast members include Will Smith, Margot Robbie and Tom Hardy.

The movie is set for 2016 release. It follows a group of convicted villains in DC Comics Universe who were given a second chance for redemption. They are sent on high-risk black ops missions which likely end up killing them all. David Ayer ("Fury") will direct the live-action adaptation from a script by Justin Marks.

The lineup is still under tight wraps, but there are various incarnations of "Suicide Squad" in the comics. Deadshot, King Shark and Amanda Waller are among the mainstays in the anti-hero team. Harley Quinn from Batman comics was a New 52 addition and could open the door for a possible crossover with The Dark Knight.

Delevigne made her feature film debut, playing a small role in 2012's "Anna Karenina" which starred Keira Knightley and Jude Law. The 22-year-old runway beauty follows it up with psychological thriller "The Face of an Angel" and will next portray a mermaid in Joe Wright's "Pan".
