Stanley Tucci and Wife Expecting First Baby

The 53-year-old actor has confirmed he and his wife Felicity Blunt are expecting their first child, saying, 'I'm very excited to be a dad.'

AceShowbiz - Stanley Tucci and his wife Felicity Blunt, the elder sister of actress Emily Blunt, are expecting their first child together. Stanley confirmed the happy news to Us Weekly at the Mario Batali Foundation Dinner at Del Posto in New York City on Sunday, October 19.

The star of "The Hunger Games" tells the site, "I'm very excited to be a dad. It's incredible. I'm most excited to have a baby with Felicity and for the baby to be healthy." Stanley then added and laughed, "The sex is of no concern to me. The sex of the baby, that is."

Stanley, who already has three children and two step kids from his marriage to his late wife Kate who died of breast cancer in 2009, gushed that Felicity would be a "great" mother.

Stanley was first introduced to Felicity in 2006 when he was filming "The Devil Wears Prada" along with Emily. The couple got engaged in 2011 and the "Transformers: Age of Extinction" actor announced in August 2012 that he and Emily had secretly married.

A month later, the pair held a wedding ceremony in London which was attended by some celebrities including Emily and her husband John Krasinski, Meryl Streep, Patricia Clarkson, Julianne Moore, Colin Firth and Kenneth Cole.

Stanley will reprise his role as Caesar Flickerman in "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 1". Other original cast members of the flick including Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth and Elizabeth Banks will also be back in their respective roles. The sci-fi/adventure movie is set to hit U.S. theaters on November 21.
