AceShowbiz - More performers for the upcoming 2014 MTV Europe Music Awards have been announced. MTV announced on Thursday, October 16 that Calvin Harris and Charli XCX would be among stars taking the stage at the event set for November 9 in Glasgow, Scotland.

Both acts are also up for awards at the upcoming event. The Scottish DJ will battle against Afrojack, Avicii, David Guetta and Hardwel for the Best Electronic Artist title while the British songbird is nominated for Best Push and Best New.

Harris and Charli aren't the only new additions to the line-up. Kiesza and Royal Blood also join previously-announced performers like Ed Sheeran, Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj. The latter will host the awards show as well.

The EMAs will air on MTV channels worldwide from Glasgow's SSE Hydro on Sunday, November 9. The U.S. telecast will kick off live from Miami at 7:00 P.M. ET/PT with Nick Cannon and Molly Tarlov as the hosts.

During the main event, Ozzy Osbourne will accept the Global Icon award for his tremendous "impact on music and pop culture." The British rocker will be the fifth artist to receive the honor, joining the likes of Eminem, Whitney Houston, Queen and Bon Jovi.
