AceShowbiz - "How to Get Away with Murder" and "Black-ish" have become the first new series to get full-season orders at ABC. The two are strong performers among newcomers debuting this fall.

"Murder" from Shondaland, which is billed as a limited series, has been increased by two episodes, going from 13 to 15. The show starring Oscar-nominated actress Viola Davis is the highest-rated new series this fall, averaging a 3.6 rating in the coveted 18-49 demo and delivering more than 14 million viewers in its opening night.

"Black-ish" starring Anthony Anderson debuted to 10.8 million and a 3.3 rating following its strong lead-in "Modern Family". The rookie comedy gets additional 9 episodes order, bringing its first season from 13 to 22. Jonathan Groff will replace Larry Wilmore as showrunner in the remaining of the season as the original showrunner will depart to focus on his upcoming Comedy Central show.
