Gwen Stefani's comeback album is almost here. As reported by Billboard, her manager, Irving Azoff, revealed during a panel at New York's Advertising Week on Monday, September 29 that the singer had been recording new tracks for the LP in a Miami studio with longtime collaborator Pharrell Williams.
According to Azoff, Stefani would pick the lead single off the album, which will be her first since 2006's "The Sweet Escape", next week. The coach of "The Voice" will then perform the new song on the singing competition later this season.
Interscope chairman John Janick told Billboard in an August interview that Stefani planned to release the yet-to-be-titled new record in December, "on the back of her role on 'The Voice'." Benny Blanco will executive produce the set that's coming out via his Mad Love Records.
In addition to Stefani's new solo LP, fans can expect a new No Doubt album. The band's frontwoman recently told MTV that she'd simultaneously been working on the follow-up to 2012's "Push and Shove".
