Jason opened up about his split from Jordin in an interview with Ryan Seacrest, saying that 'there was a lot of pressures of marriage' and admitting he's not in 'good terms' with her.

AceShowbiz - Jason Derulo opened up about the reasons of his break-up from Jordin Sparks in a phone interview with Ryan Seacrest on "On Air with Ryan Seacrest" on Monday, September 29. When asked about the split, Jason replied, "I'm not one to throw my business out on the street, but I thought it was important because things are getting a little out of hand."
The "Talk Dirty" crooner continued, "What happened... in a nutshell, there was a lot of tension in the relationship for a lot of different reasons... There was a lot of pressures of marriage. There was a lot of arguing and stuff like that that just weighed on our relationship over time. When you stop having more good times than bad bad times, it's time to call it quits. It becomes something that is unhealthy."
Ryan then asked Jason if he's in good terms with Jordin. "I wouldn't say good terms," the "Wiggle" singer said, "I'll be lying if I said that, but it's not a bad situation. There's no bad blood. We didn't end off on a weird way or a negative way. But it's not like we're hitting each other up, like, 'Hey, what are you doing today?' "
When asked if Jordin was the one who wanted to take their relationship to the next level, Jason replied, "To be fair, it was not just from her either. It was kind of from everybody. That's not the sole reason, but it definitely played a part."
Jason insisted that infidelity did not play part on their split.
Earlier that day, Jordin made an appearance on "Today" and hinted that she moved on from Jason. "I'm good, actually," she said after being asked about how she handled the split, "The funny this is I read this quote, 'When something unexpected happens in your life or you think something bad happens, just say, plot twist! And move on.' "
