Earlier this year, Miguel recorded a song called "Simple Things" for Lena Dunham's HBO hit series "Girls". Months later, the 28-year-old singer releases the track's official music video for fans' viewing pleasure.
Miguel keeps things simple in the black-and-white cinematic clip, which premiered on Youtube on Thursday, May 29. It opens with Miguel leaving a party while in another place, his on-screen love interest played by Sports Illustrated model Gigi Hadid is seen leaving her motel room.
The two walk through the streets and eventually meet on a beach, where they smile, laugh and spend the rest of the day together.
"Simple Things" appears in "Girls Volume 2: All Adventurous Women Do...", "Girls" soundtrack album that also features songs by Lily Allen, Beck and Jenny Lewis among others.
Miguel is currently working on his new LP that's expected to hit the stores this fall. The new record will serve as the follow-up to 2012's "Kaleidoscope Dream".
