Frank is sworn in as vice president and plans to start the new chapter with a clean slate, but his dirty laundry may be exposed and threatens to haunt him.

AceShowbiz - Netflix has released a new epic trailer for "House of Cards" season 2. As Frank Underwood takes the oath of office of the vice president, he says to the camera, "One heartbeat away from the presidency and not a single vote cast in my name. Democracy is so overrated."

Planning to start the new chapter with a clean slate, he apparently won't easily run away from his dirty dealings. Doug Stamper says that he "can't have this conspiracy stuff going mainstream," while Zoe Barnes is suspicious that Frank had something to do with Peter Russo's murder.

But Frank refuses to back off, sharing his philosophy, "There is but one rule: hunt or be hunted."

The second installment of the political drama series will be released in its entirety on February 14 on Netflix. Kevin Spacey reprises his role as Frank, with Robin Wright Penn, Kate Mara, Michael Gill, Gerald McRaney, Michael Kelly, Mahershala Ali, Sebastian Arcelus and Kristen Connolly also among the returning cast members.

Netflix recently announced that it would shoot its new original programming in the ultra high-resolution format 4K and has been working to make the format a viable option for streaming.
