Movie

Dwayne Johnson calls himself 'the cavalry' in a picture which features him in a combat gear staring down a long tunnel.

A brand new photo taken from the set of "Fast and Furious 7" is released by Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. The actor wearing what looks like a bullet-proof vest is standing in a long tunnel with his back to the camera while staring at someone far in front of him. "I didn't bring the cavalry.. I AM the cavalry," he wrote.

The film will pick up where "Fast and Furious 6" left off, following Dominic (Vin Diesel) and Brian (Paul Walker) who return Stateside and live the normal life again as they had wanted after killing Owen Shaw and his minions. But Ian Shaw (Jason Statham) is seeking revenge for the death of his younger brother.

It is set to be released in the U.S. on June 11, 2014. Ludacris, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson and Jordana Brewster are also back reprising their respective roles. New cast include Kurt Russell and Ronda Rousey.

Walker recently said an eighth movie would happen regardless of the "Fast and Furious 7" outcome. "Well, the studio supposedly wants 8, 9 and 10. I'll be 50. Even if 7 were to [tank], there's at least an 8. That's a guarantee," the 40-year-old actor told Collider.

An earlier report suggested that "The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift" actor Lucas Black, who would return for the seventh film, already signed on for the upcoming eighth and ninth installments.
