Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez are clearly on good terms. He paid his ex-girlfriend a surprise visit halfway through her 21st birthday party Saturday, July 27. Arriving at the event with his friends and bodyguards, he brought the birthday girl a single red rose.
"Justin arrived at the party in his leopard-print Audi R8," a source told PEOPLE. When she saw him, she "started to cry," another source testified. "Justin and Selena went into the house to talk and were inside for a long time before sneaking out together."
Gomez turned 21 on July 22, sharing the same birthday with Prince of Cambridge, George Alexander Louis. After a week of festivities, she held a gypsy-themed bash at the Revolve Beach House in Malibu over the weekend with her close friends.
Despite the theme of the party, Bieber casually dressed in a black-and-green letterman jacket, dark jeans and white high-tops, while the rest of the guests like Julianne Hough, Nina Dobrev and Ashley Benson channeled their inner gypsy girls.
The party which was also attended by Jaden Smith and Derek Hough came to a close around 2 A.M. Bieber and Gomez reportedly spent the rest of the night together at his home in Calabasas, Calif.
