Seen briefly in the first trailer, Malekith the Accursed of "Thor: The Dark World" now unveils his whole look in a picture from Empire magazine (via Redzilla). With Christopher Eccleston as the depicter, the character is just as menacing as it looks from the costume he dons to the weapon, which is dubbed a "dark-matter energy gun," the Dark Elf wields.

In an interview with Red Carpet News TV, Tom Hiddleston praised co-star Eccleston for "really [getting] his teeth into this thing [playing Malekith]." The Loki depicter then continued saying, "You just can't stop watching him when he's on screen. I think he'll be absolutely magnetic [in the movie]."

"The Dark World" will find Thor fighting against a militant ancient race called the Dark Elves, which is led by Malekith the Accursed. Presenting back Chris Hemsworth as the Asgardian demigod and Natalie Portman as Jane, the Marvel feature is also supported by Kat Dennings, Idris Elba, Anthony Hopkins, Stellan Skarsgard and Zachary Levi.

Alan Taylor directs the action-packed film with a screenplay by Robert Rodat and Don Payne. Kenneth Branagh and Kevin Feige serve as co-producers for the much-anticipated sequel to "Thor".

"Thor: The Dark World" will invade theaters nationwide on November 8.
