According to a book by acclaimed author Tom Bower, Cowell was romantically involved with two women in his 'X Factor' judging panel.

AceShowbiz - Simon Cowell apparently has a thing about on-set love. Not only was he once romantically linked to "American Idol" co-judge, Paula Abdul, but also he had a special relationship with fellow "The X Factor" judges, Dannii Minogue and Cheryl Cole.

The Sun quoted from a book about Cowell in which it was written that he and Minogue had a sensational secret affair. "I had a crush. It was genuine love," the music mogul supposedly admitted. It is thought that they were dating in 2007 for they left the BBC Studio in White City that year holding hands inside a private car.

Not only that, Cowell revealed that he also had a crush with Cole after his relationship with Minogue died down. He recalled his encounters with Cole in his dressing room, saying "She would come in dressed in her tracksuit and slippers, drop her eyes and play the soulful victim to get around me. She played me. When she walked over, I felt I was the mouse with a beautiful cat. I adored her. And as she got her own way, it drove Louis Walsh mad."

The revelations are part of a book published next month titled "Sweet Revenge: The Intimate Life of Simon Cowell". The Sun is having it as a series. Biographer and former BBC journalist Tom Bower wrote the book but Cowell did not authorize it. "Just seen the TV ad for the unauthorized book on me. Yikes!" Cowell tweeted on Saturday, April 14 night.
