MTV reportedly went into frenzy when finding out that she is with a child because it would change the direction of the new 'Jersey Shore' spin-off.

AceShowbiz - The report that MTV's "Jersey Shore" star Snooki is pregnant is getting louder as websites claimed she was lying about it. NY Post said the pint-sized reality star is carrying her first child by boyfriend Jionni LaValle and is already three months along. She even plans to be "the next Kourtney Kardashian".
Snooki denied that she has a bun in the oven when doing an interview with Sirius/XM radio on February 1, saying she's offended by people thinking she is fat. However, she kept the pregnancy a secret because she wanted to cash in on the story plus she thinks it's a taboo to talk about being pregnant before crossing the 3 months mark, TMZ said.
Regarding her intention to publicly announce the pregnancy, a source told NY Post that she had shopped the story to several celebrity magazines. However, MTV is afraid how people will handle the news especially because Snooki is known for her hard-partying ways. She has just started filming a spin-off to "Jersey Shore" with JWoww.
"MTV went into crisis mode after they found out," said a source. "They're trying to hide it because it would greatly affect the creative direction of the show. " A rep of Snooki or MTV is yet to come up with comments.
