The 'Help' actress receives news about her Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress while sitting in the front row at Armani Prive fashion show at Paris Fashion Week.

AceShowbiz - Jessica Chastain might not want to forget the day she attended the Paris Fashion Week on Tuesday, January 24. Not only did the Celia Foote of "The Help" receive news about her Best Supporting Actress nomination for the 84th Academy Awards, but she also had the fashion world celebrating with her.

The 30-year-old actress was sitting front row at the Armani Prive fashion show when her cell phone started ringing. As soon as she discovered that she got nominated, a round of applause filled the room. It was reported that she also got a standing ovation from the crowd which included Cameron Diaz and Roberta Armani.

Fellow show-goer who managed to take a snapshot of the moment when Chastain got the call was Vogue Italia editor-in-chief Franca Sozzani. Posting the photo on his Twitter, he wrote, "Jessica Chastain receives the call on her nomination at the Oscars during the #Armani Prive fashion show."

Colin Firth's wife, Livia, was also among those who bore witness to Chastain's emotional moment. She wrote on her Twitter account, "Super congrats #JessicaChastain sitting next to me #Armani and just heard about her #Oscars nominations!"

This Best Supporting Actress nod marks Chastain's first Oscar nomination. She is up against her own co-star in "The Help", Octavia Spencer, to whom she lost the Golden Globe for the same kudo. The Mrs. O'Brien of "The Tree of Life" also has Berenice Bejo, Melissa McCarthy and Janet McTeer as her contenders.
