The highly anticipated superhero film will reportedly feature the Hellcarrier that looks like a huge F-14, the aliens that explode cars and the villain that 'gets more hands on and physical.'

AceShowbiz - Marvel might still keep official details "The Avengers" under wraps, but a brief description of some details in the highly anticipated movie have landed online. Comic Book Movie has obtained some details related to the finalized concept of the Hellcarrier in the Joss Whedon-directed superhero film.

A source told the site that the [SPOILER ALERT!] Hellcarrier will look like "a huge F-14 with stubbier main wings and large hovercraft blades in all 4 wings." It is also said that there will be a "cloaking device" in it. While it has been reported that the cast shot some scenes at NASA facility, it is said that the office is used as a double for a S.H.I.E.L.D. lab where the organization is "studying the Cosmic Cube."

Words are, there will also be aliens' ship blowing stuff up in the upcoming movie. There will be a scene where the aliens "shoot missiles down on the the street", exploding all the cars. Additionally, the source also said that Loki will be brutal in the movie. He will be "more hands on and physical."

"The Avengers" will bring together Marvel Comics' famous superhero characters as they team up to fight the biggest foes no single hero could withstand. Chris Hemsworth, Chris Evans and Robert Downey Jr. will reprise their roles as Thor, Captain America and Iron Man respectively.

The movie also stars Tom Hiddleston as Loki, Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow, Mark Ruffalo as The Hulk, Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Furry, Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye, Clark Gregg as Phil Coulson and Stellan Skarsgard as Erik Selvig. This summer movie is due to hit U.S. theaters on May 4, 2012.
