Taylor Lautner apparently had to go through uncomfortable moments with Lily Collins after their split. One insider told Us Weekly that the rumored couple called it quits just one week before their new movie "Abduction" had its red carpet premiere in Los Angeles on September 15.
Accordingly, it was Taylor who initiated the break-up. Though insisting that it was "a clean break", the inside source did note, "At the 'Abduction' party, it was awkward. They barely said a word to one another." The source added that the "Twilight Saga" hunk now looks to "be single for a while" so that "he can properly move on."
Lily and Taylor were first speculated to be dating in summer 2010, but the rumor was quick to be put off. An insider insisted, at the time, that the actress who plays Sandra Bullock's daughter in "The Blind Side" is "still with her boyfriend." However, in November 2010, it was reported that their relationship has been approved by her singer father Phil Collins.
While the former couple remained mum about their alleged romance, Taylor did talk about their on-screen chemistry. During a recent radio interview, the 19-year-old hunk told Ryan Seacrest, "Oh, boy, you know, I would say, pretty good. There's a steamy scene or two [in 'Abduction']. And we definitely had to just dive right into it."
