The first clip from "Thor" has gone online. In the video, released via MTV, Chris Hemsworth's title character is seen lying on the ground, apparently has been cast out of Asgard. As he is shouting about losing his hammer, Kat Dennings's Darcy electrocutes the God of Thunder because she is scared of him.
The superhero film follows arrogant warrior Thor who is cast down to Earth due to his reckless actions. Once here, Thor learns what it takes to be a true hero when the most dangerous villain of his world sends the darkest forces of Asgard to invade Earth.
Also starring in the upcoming film are the likes of Natalie Portman, Tom Hiddleston, Anthony Hopkins, Jaimie Alexander, Rene Russo, Ray Stevenson, Tadanobu Asano, Idris Elba, Colm Feore and Clark Gregg. The fantasy film, which is directed by Kenneth Branagh, is scheduled for 2D and 3D theatrical release on May 6 in the U.S.
