AceShowbiz - Before Demi Lovato and Joe Jonas ended their relationship in May, the couple has teamed up in a photo shoot for the July cover of Teen Vogue, which will available on newsstands on July 6. As they were still dating at that time, the photos show how romantic they were.
In one shot, Demi, who dons blue ruffle dress, is seen whispering into Joe's ear while they sit on a big motorcycle. In another picture, additionally, the then-couple looks intimate as they chat and laugh in what appears to be a workshop.
In addition to the photo shoot, Demi and Joe agreed to interview each other for the magazine. "What's your favorite thing about me?," Demi started asking the Jonas Brothers star. But the interview did not run smoothly because instead of answering the question, Joe responded with another quiz, saying "Do you really want me to answer that? Why don't you tell me: On set, what was your favorite snack? Because I think I already know."
Demi further asked another question, "We met when I auditioned for 'J.O.N.A.S!'. What was your first impression of me?" Joe answered, "I saw right away how smiley you were. Obviously, I didn't have a say in who was going to be cast, but it ended up being a good thing that you didn't get that role. If you had, you wouldn't have been in 'Camp Rock'."
When the magazine asked whose idea it was to take the dating step, Joe said, "Mine." And Demi, who was asked if she didn't already fancy him at that time, replied, "I had always fancied him. Want to know what actually happened? One night I asked him, 'What is the deal? We're perfect for each other. What are you doing?' And he was like, 'This is really awkward. I have to go'."
"I needed time to think," Joe explained that situation. Meanwhile, Demi added, "And I thought, Great, I just ruined a friendship. But then the next day, he came knocking at my door."
However, less than 48 hours after the interview, Demi Lovato and Joe Jonas announced that they walked their separate ways. In a different interview with Teen Vogue, Demi and Joe agreed to talk about the separation although this time, they did it separately. Joe, who called from Washington, D.C., said, "It could have been better timing. But there's never really a good time for something like that. I really care about her."
Meanwhile, Demi, who called from the set of her show "Sonny with a Chance" in Los Angeles, revealed that it was Joe's decision to end their romance. She went on to say, "We haven't spent any time together since everything. Because that would be awkward, but I'm sure things will go totally back to normal once we're on tour together."
