2010 ACM Awards: Carrie Underwood Receives Triple-Crown Honor

Miranda Lambert, Brad Paisley, Lady Antebellum and Luke Bryan are other winners of the awards show taking place at Las Vegas' MGM Grand Garden Arena.

AceShowbiz - The 45th Annual of Academy of Country Music Awards is still on-going and more lucky musicians taking home coveted prizes are unveiled. But audience is treated with Taylor Swift's performance first before switching to winners announcement.

Soon after Taylor's performance which is ended by her jumping into the crowd and being carried on her back by some guys, Julianne Hough takes over the stage, commenting on the "Fearless" singer's stage act, "Was that not so amazing?" Julianne moves to reveal Top New Artist winner and it goes to Luke Bryan. "Woo! Thank you fans. Thank you. It's impossible for a human to shake more than I am right now," he says.

Lady Antebellum return to the stage after previously appearing to collect Single Record of the Year and Song of the Year prizes. They sing "American Honey" and it is followed by a performance from another country music band Rascal Flatts who deliver their single "Unstoppable".

Next, Kristen Bell invites Miranda Lambert to pick up her second award, this time around for Album of the Year as an honor for her work in 2009 album "Revolution". Miranda collects the trophy with her producer Frank Liddell, telling the crowd, "This music is what I do. It's the only thing I live for, and thanks for loving it. Really, changed my life" before then giving the mic to Frank.

Special honoree of the April 18 ceremony is Montgomery Gentry who are saluted for their humanitarian efforts. Troy Gentry can't hold back his tears and bandmate Eddie Montgomery talks something about the greatest country in the world. The Humanitarian Award is handed to the duo by LeAnn Rimes.

Host Reba McEntire introduces Carrie Underwood's performance and later on presents the "American Idol" alum with a Triple-Crown Award for her last year's triple victory; Top New Female Vocalist, Top Female Vocalist and Entertainer of the Year. Carrie who looks gorgeous in a floor-length gown thanked fans, God and country music for the prize.

Lady Antebellum add another trophy to their awards collection as they are handed with Top Vocal Group of the Year by presenter Eddie Cibrian of "CSI: Miami". Charles Kelley responds to their latest award by declaring that they "will never forget the night." Dave Haywood, furthermore, expresses his gratitude for being a part of "the greatest genre in the world."

Brad Paisley who sings single "Water" is another winner of the evening. Matthew McConaughey gives him a trophy for Top Male Vocalist of the Year. Still wet from his newly-ended set, Brad asks Matthew, "Can I borrow your shirt? You're used to not wearing one." He then jokes about his wife Kimberly Williams saying he is a better kisser than the actor. "You had no kissing scenes in [We Are Marshall], so I don't know how she knows that," Brad said.
