Another commercial ad for the 26th Annual MTV Video Music Awards has been outed by MTV. While the previous one has Cobra Starship and Leighton Meester singing and dancing to West Side Story's musical number "Tonight" in a vintage New York City subway car, this new one features Taylor Swift delivering the popular song through red-lights and teardrops.

In the TV spot, Taylor is narrated as one of the attendees who is on her way to MTV VMAs. "My version of 'Tonight' was pretty theatrical, because I listened to the song and I heard the song and I'm just like, 'There's no way to do this and not play it up,' " she said of the promo ad.

"It's gonna be me and a bunch of artists, and we're shooting individual versions of the song," Taylor explained further about the other commercial ads for the event. Katy Perry, Ne-Yo and Russell Brand will be featured in the other MTV VMAs promos.

2009 MTV Video Music Awards will be held on September 13 at 9 P.M. ET with last year's host Russell Brand once again being billed for the job. Taylor Swift, Muse, Green Day, Pink, Jay-Z and Lady GaGa are tapped to sing at the event. Meanwhile, Nelly Furtado, Leighton Meester, Miranda Cosgrove, Katy Perry, Ne-Yo and Chace Crawford will present awards at the ceremony.
