Newly single Jessica Simpson was spotted making another post-split public appearance Monday, July 27, attending a listening party for An-Ya, a Russian pop singer signed to his father Joe Simpson's music label. Attending the event held at the West Hollywood home of famed jeweler Pascal Mouawad with the companion of her mother, Tina, the actress-singer was seen donning sparkly black dress and wearing some jewels.
Jessica arrived at the venue around 8:30 P.M. and immediately headed upstairs, where she stayed for about 30 minutes. There she posed for a few photos and was given thousands of dollars of free jewelry, including a $10,000 ring.
Asked by US Weekly on how she was doing, Jessica offered short answer, saying "good". And while she remained silent after that, daddy Joe chimed in, "She's good. She's doing very good."
When making her way downstairs, Jessica greeted small screen actor Lane Garrison before heading to dinner at the Beverly Hills Hotel. Later that night, Jessica tweeted, "Just left my dad's new artist An-Ya's single release celebration with my family. Good luck sweetheart! You are a doll."
Jessica Simpson is rarely seen making public appearances ever since report of her separation from Tony Romo sparked earlier this month. She was said to have been dumped by the footballer on the eve of her 29th birthday on July 10.
