Disney Channel goes behind the scene of "Wizards of Waverly Place: The Movie" in the new DCOM Extra. The special feature contains insights from the cast, new footage and the filming process that shows technical rehearsals.
Selena Gomez, who plays Alex Russo in the movie, says she likes the scene she shares with David Henrie. "I think my favorite scene would have to be between Justin and Alex by the campfire," she opened up. "It's a very sweet brother and sister moment."
Henrie and Jake T. Austin then gave three reasons why people would want to watch this movie, citing "the action", "captivated by the characters" and "the comedy".
A TV movie version of "Wizards of Waverly Place", the movie tells about the wrongful spell that Alex cast upon her parents when they are vacationing in the Caribbean. Her existence as well as her brothers' are threatened when she wished her parents to have never even met at the first place.
Disney Channel will air it for the first time on August 1. Similar behind-the-scene featurettes will be released leading to the premiere.
