Brian McFadden says he and Delta Goodrem have decided to postpone their wedding because of 'increased work commitments'.

AceShowbiz - Delta Goodrem and her fiance of more than a year Brian McFadden have decided to postpone their wedding due to "increased work commitments". "We were sitting down to try to organize the wedding and we were thinking: 'We're never going to get this wedding organized by Christmas,'" McFadden told The Sunday Telegraph.
"I know if we don't get married, everyone is going to say there are problems because we pushed the wedding back," he continued. "But we want to get married and take a nice block of time off, like three months, enjoy our families being there and have a nice honeymoon - not get married between gigs.''
Delta Goodrem and Brian McFadden began dating in 2004, following his split from estranged wife Kerry Katona. Back in May 2006, Goodrem's mother reportedly asked her to call off her romance with McFadden so she could focus on her music career. However, the couple finally announced their engagement on November 30, 2007.
Two months ago, the former member of Irish boy band Westlife confessed that he planned to marry Goodrem in her hometown, Australia, in December. "We're looking at the end of the year, Christmas time, in Australia. During the next couple of weeks, we'll definitely be setting a date," he said.
