Gerard Butler has slammed rumors he's dating actress Cameron Diaz, insisted reports on that matter are "not true."

That Gerard Butler and Cameron Diaz are dating, it's just a nasty rumor. Put the brake on the false romance rumors, the movie hunk insisted "it's not true!"
Rumors were mounting over the weekend that Butler and Diaz have been enjoying a string of secret dates. It's been claimed that both stars have been on three dates in just ten days, being spotted at Teddy's Bar in the Roosevelt Hotel, having a romantic dinner at The Chateau Marmont hotel and were seen sharing drinks at Shutters Hotel.
A witness claimed to have seen the pair "walked up to the balcony area to look at the sunset. He had one arm round her waist and the other on the small of her back. She kept giggling and touching his chest to whisper in his ear. They obviously had a good night."
To make the dating rumors far more interesting, Butler and Diaz were also reported to have had a double date with Hollywood celebrity couple Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal.
Butler, during his morning run in Los Angeles on Thursday, April 10, nevertheless quashed the rumors, saying "So if I take my dog for a walk apparently I'm f-ing my dog? No, it's not true!"
