Taking her time to turn up at the Los Angeles premiere of her latest producing work "The Great Debaters", Oprah Winfrey has informed USA TODAY that she is now gearing up for a biopic about the life of celebrated singer Lena Horne with Alicia Keys to topline.

"We're going to start filming next year," she revealed. "And we've got Alicia."

The famous talk show host also pointed out that TV scribe Lloyd Kramer has been assigned to pen the script while admitting she still has no desire to return in front of the camera as an actress anytime soon. "I don't," she remarked. "I've let go of the need for that."

It is still unclear, however, whether the project will be a film feature or a rather made-for-TV movie. But the story it is set to present will likely revolve around Horne's rise to fame after singing the rendition of "Stormy Weather" in 1943.
