On the heels of the 'cease and desist' order that Pete Wentz had allegedly sent to trash metal band Neurosonic, there has been a blog entry from the Fall Out Boy's frontman that he never sent such thing, let alone know who the band is.
Wentz denies the reports on New York Post's Page Six Column that says he has asked Neurosonic to stop playing 'So Many People' because it distasted his girlfriend, Ashlee Simpson. "I have never heard of that band or ever sent a cease and desist in my life", Wentz wrote. "Hope it works out for you".
Wentz continued, "I'm still not gonna have a fight in the press - its one thing I am really proud of myself for this year. If your songs are good then sleep easy and have fun playing them - just don't attach me to them."
Meanwhile, Wentz is also one of the musicians that pay tribute to the death of Hawthorne Heights' guitarist, Casey Calvert. He wrote on an e-mail to MTV News, "My mind was blown when we got the call about Casey passing away. It's something that hits you pretty hard, especially after we got to know Casey on the Black Clouds Tour. He was one of the sweetest guys in a band that we've ever had the chance to tour with."
Calvert passed away unexpectedly on the band's tour bus on Saturday, November 24. Cause of Death is still unknown and it will probably determined within 90 days depending on the autopsy result that have been completed, said a rep of Washington D.C.'s medical examiner.
