Two grand finalists of American Idol in cycle six have been making huge progress since their graduation in May this year.

Winner Jordin Sparks is officially signed to 19Recordings/Jive Records and her first single 'Tattoo' that supposes to hit the radio on Monday (August 27) has made a round in the Internet first. Her album is coming out in November with collaborators including Amanda Ghost who co-penned James Blunt's hit 'You're Beautiful'.

“They’ve risen the bar so high and I’m like, ‘I hope I can reach it,”’ Jordin said of the album. “I’m trying to reach it! I just really hope that when (my CD) comes out it’ll be great and maybe as good as theirs. And hopefully it’ll sell well and people will like it.”

Runner-up Blake Lewis, meanwhile, follows Jordin's footsteps to get himself signed under Simon Fuller's 19Recordings but under the imprint of Arista Records. His debut album which is tentatively titled 'Audio Daydream (ADD)' will be released before the end of this year.

"Blake is one of the most unique `Idol' contestants I've ever seen," Fuller said in a statement. "He brought something new to the competition and won fans all over America. I know they're going to love his first album."

On the sound of the debut album Blake told Billboard.com, "It's your favorite '80s mix tape. (It's) very inspired by Michael Jackson, Prince, Erasure, Depeche Mode, Duran Duran, The Cure. It's all over the map, really - very influenced by '80s hip-hop, old school breaks, whatever."
