One of the twin sisters goes solo. Mary-Kate Olsen makes her way returning to television, sans Ashley Olsen, with a co-starring role on Showtime's dark comedy "Weeds."

On the Lionsgate-produced show, Mary-Kate will play Tara, a devoted Christian girl living in the newly developed megachurch community Majestic who becomes a love interest for Nancy Botwin's, Mary-Louise Parker's role, son Silas, played by Hunter Parrish.

"I'm thrilled to be a part of the show," Mary-Kate said on her returning to TV series for the first time since 2002. "It's really an honor to be a part of such a talented group of actors and writers."

Mary-Kate has been tapped to appear in 10 of the 15 episodes of the show's third season, premieres August 13th.
