Bebe Rexha

Bebe Rexha has always been known as genius pop songwriter, but she has proven to the world that pop songs are not the only songs that she can write. Teaming up with country duo Florida Georgia Line, Bebe released her first country track "Meant to Be" on October 24.

Speaking to Billboard, the songstress revealed that the country track was "a cool pivoting moment for me, because now I get to [be] more of a raw, real Bebe. It's going back to my roots; It's exciting." The song debuted atop Billboard's Hot Country Songs chart, marking Rexha as the first female solo artist to debut atop the chart. The song also became her highest-charting song on Billboard Hot 100, peaking at No. 28.

"It feels really good," Bebe said of her achievement with the song. "It's a testament to the music, to writing great songs and never stopping. All the success helps push me to do even better and even more. In this industry, you get caught up watching the charts, but it's really about being grateful, and any little success you should celebrate."

"Meant to Be" is the second track off her latest effort "All Your Fault, Pt. 2", which was released on August 11 through Warner Bros. record label. The songstress was supposed to embark on a joint tour with Marc E. Bassy in support of the album, but the tour was postponed to 2018 due to an inflection putting Bebe on strict vocal rest.

It was indeed a bad news for Bebe, but she didn't stop releasing music because of that. Last month, the Albanian beauty released a collaborative track entitled "Home" with Machine Gun Kelly and X Ambassadors. The track served as a soundtrack for Netflix's "Bright". She is also currently working on a new project called "Expectations", which is scheduled to be released next year.
