Kim Kardashian Biography

Kim Kardashian was born Kimberly Noel Kardashian on October 21, 1980 in Los Angeles, California to Robert Kardashian and Kris Jenner. Her father died of esophageal cancer in September 2003.

Notoriously famous for her leaked sex tape with then boyfriend Ray J, the younger brother of singer Brandy Norwood, which was leaked and sold for public in 2007, Kim later on established a rock solid name in showbiz. After starring in the hit reality series "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" and its spin-offs; "Kourtney and Kim Take New York" and "Kourtney and Kim Take Miami", she immediately became a highly-sought-after name. She had since built her own business empire and patented her famous name for the brands of such products as nail polish, jewelry, perfume, and also fashion.

Kim, moreover, also invaded the big screen, making her feature film debut in the 2008 "Disaster Movie". In the same year she also joined in "Dancing With the Stars" as one of its contestants. She was paired with Mark Ballas. Then in August the following year, she served as guest judge on "America's Next Top Model".

Career aside, Kim was also famous for her tumultuous relationships with several men. Back in 2000, she eloped with music producer Damon Thomas who filed for divorce from her in 2003. According to her, their split was mainly caused by his physical and emotional abuse. Before having her divorce to Thomas being finalized, Kim began dating Ray J, with whom she recorded the leaked sex tape in 2003. In 2010, she began dating NBA player Kris Humphries and got engaged to him in May the next year. The pair got married in an extravagant wedding ceremony on August 20 only to divorce 72 days later. After that she began dating longtime friend Kanye West and gave birth to his baby daughter, North West, on June 15, 2013, the same month her divorce to Humphries was finalized. Kim and Kanye were married on May 24, 2014.
