After his film debut in the 1999 "Galaxy Quest", Justin Long continued starring on TV series "Ed" (2000-2004) as Warren P. Cheswick which helped catapult him to prominence. In between shooting the shows, he appeared in "Jeepers Creepers" (2001) and its follow-up "Jeepers Creepers 2" (2003) also the 2004 "DodgeBall: A True Underdog Story". He starred as the love interest of Britney Spears in "Crossroads" (2002) as well as of Lindsay Lohan in "Herbie: Fully Loaded" (2005). In 2006, he landed a guest starring role in an episode of "That '70s Show" and acted in "The Break-Up" (2006).
In the years that followed, Long tackled various roles in a series of films, like "Live Free or Die Hard", "Battle for Terra", and "Alvin and the Chipmunks", all of which were released in 2007. By 2009, he added at least 10 features into his resume, including "He's Just Not That into You", "Funny People", and "Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel". On small screen, Long was featured in "King of the Hill", "New Girl", "Unsupervised", also "Mom".
Blessed with boyish look, Long dated actress Drew Barrymore after starring with her in "He's Just Not That into You". He was much criticized for romancing the so-called troubled actress. The pair confirmed their separation in 2008, but reunited the following year only to split up for good in 2010. He, afterwards, dated actress Amanda Seyfried in 2013. Long was born Justin Jacob Long on June 2, 1978 in Fairfield, Connecticut.
