Sky Go Apologizes After Viewers Were Denied Watching 'Mad Men' Premiere

Sky Go wrongly blocked iPad and mobile device users from watching the season 6 premiere of "". Fans who were eager to watch the new episodes on Wednesday night, April 10 on the online player were told that there were "rights restrictions" which meant it's not allowed to play the show.

Admitting there was an error, Sky released a statement through its spokesperson on Thursday, "We'd really like to apologise to any customers who tried to watch the new episodes of Mad Men live through Sky Go. In error, the service suggested that we were unable to show the episodes due to rights issues."

AMC has unleashed a new promo for "" season 6 a few days after debuting the first poster. Though it doesn't include new footage, the video features creator Matthew Weiner and some of the cast talking about what to expect from the new season.

Weiner calls the upcoming installment "a real journey into learning about Don [Draper]," while the character depicter, , sums up the story, "It's a lot of our favorite characters doing a lot of different things." He adds, "There are two parts of life -- the part that is public and the part that is private."
